Our Mission
Capital Pavement Services was founded on a straightforward principle: deliver the quality of work that commercial property owners in Northern Virginia deserve. We bring that same level of care to every service we provide — from a simple parking lot restriping to a complete pavement overhaul including sealcoating, crack filling and sealing, asphalt paving and repair, bumper block installation, ADA compliance upgrades, and parking lot signage.

Meet the Founder
Capital Pavement Services was founded by Doug Gladstone, a longtime Northern Virginia resident who built a career spanning two very different worlds — and found his true calling in a third.
Doug spent the first half of his professional life as a finance executive, working with some of the most recognized names in American business including America Online, Walt Disney, and General Electric. He then pivoted into executive search, leading his firm's technology practice with a focus on something he's always been drawn to: connecting with people and making a meaningful impact on their lives and careers.
But through both chapters, one thing never changed. Doug has always had a knack for building and fixing things — a hands-on instinct and a perfectionist's eye for detail that no boardroom ever fully contained. After years of hands-on contracting work alongside his professional career, Doug formally launched Capital Pavement Services in 2026 with a clear purpose: deliver the kind of professionalism, reliability, and quality that commercial property owners, HOAs, retail centers, office parks, and property managers throughout Northern Virginia deserve — but don't always get.
For Doug, a freshly completed parking lot with clean, crisp lines isn't just a finished job. It's a standard.
